Complementary data collection

Here we go again! In the upcoming few weeks (starting from 22 September), we will be visiting Kommetjie, Constantia, and Simons Town to collect more survey responses. The reason is that when reviewing all the data collected so far, we noticed a few areas that we could not access and include in the survey. This round will be much smaller, we expect to collect a maximum of 50 additional responses. We will be helped by some familiar faces, fieldworkers Akhona and Jason, together with Luke and Kinga. The survey procedure will be identical to last time: door knocking, 15-minute survey, and a notice left at addresses where no one answers so we can arrange a different visit that suits you.

And just like last time, advance notices will go out on local community Whatsapp and/or Facebook groups a few days before we come to your area, so keep your ears and eyes open. Fieldworkers will all wear ID badges with our names and light grey shirts printed with the project name and university logo.

Thank you everyone for your patience while we make sure the survey is conducted properly and gives residents in all concerned areas a chance to participate!
