Student project comparing Cape Town and Hong Kong!

Over the coming weeks, you might come across an ad on social media for an online survey about Cape Town’s Urban Baboons and Visual Communication. The survey is part of a student project supervised by Johan and Kinga, conducted by Sing Yi Betty Woo as part of her Master’s project at Stockholm University. A similar survey has already been done in Hong Kong, where residents in some areas have strong opinions about the wild boars that sometimes enter urban areas in search of food.

For the time being, participants are only recruited via the social media ads to ensure the sampling is as similar as possible to the Hong Kong survey. If the ad doesn’t generate a similar amount of responses we might also post a link to the survey here.

(Please note that this post will not be sent out to subscribers’ emails – more info about the survey will be shared in a future newsletter.)
