Planning for Unruly tour #2. Can you help us find suitable high schools?

We are in the middle of planning the second round of performances of Unruly, where we aim to bring the play and post-show discussion to new audiences. Tentative dates for this tour is 28 October to 9 November – watch this space for more information about how to sign up. Some of the new shows will be at the Baxter theatre, where we will have a chance to stage the play with better lighting – and also to film all of Andrew’s performance to produce a video version of the play. This way it can reach a much wider audience!

We need your help!

Many of you who filled out feedback forms after watching Unruly, suggested that we also show it to younger audiences. We are now looking for high schools that are keen to host the show for their learners, ideally in areas that are familiar with urban baboons. Do you work at such a school, or know someone who does? Please get in touch with us (unrulynatures@gmail.com) ASAP! This won’t come at any cost to the school or those attending, but we think it would be a really valuable opportunity to hear from younger residents how they feel about the issue and for them to reflect on the challenges that the play deals with.

  1. FYI, especially for Johann, and Odendaal. Sent to Cape Talk presenters. See you on 9th in the evening (Baxter). Sue
